FAQ

Will you pose us?

My goal for your session is for you to see yourself and the beautiful life you live in every photo. While I do use poses and prompts, it's the moments in between that capture who you are and the true interactions between those you love.

Do you Travel?

While I currently live in Florida, I love to travel and would most definitely travel to you or your favorite location. I also try to post places I will be traveling to next for available session dates with limited to no travel costs.

What should I wear?

I find that textures and/or layering of clothes really spice up a photo. With that in mind, wear what your comfortable in, what makes you feel sexy. Wear what YOU love.

How many pictures will I receive?

With each wedding and session, I don't like to place a limit on photos. I deliver all edited photos. I will send you a link to your gallery, and from there, you will be able to download every photo without any extra cost.

BOOKING WITH ME

I take a particularly intentional approach to the co-curation of our session. When you inquire, you will complete a brief questionnaire to help us get off to a good start. From there we will share an open discourse via email and phone calls to prepare for your session, wedding, or elopement. Follow the link below to begin.

TRAVEL & INFORMATION

I currently live in Pensacola, FL and travel to locations both within the US and abroad. If you catch me in a city I am already visiting, I can oftentimes discount session rates or travel fees to thank you for making the most of my trip! Keep an eye out for travel dates on my Instagram.

whether you come to me or i come to you, I can't wait to photograph you and the people and places you love.

IDYL /ˈĪDL/  noun

an extremely happy, peaceful, or picturesque episode or scene

Pictures, for me, are true escapes to moments we weren’t ready to let go of... but time didn’t allow otherwise.

My name is Abi, the photographer behind IDYL Photo, and I photograph life and love.  To me, styling a photo is like creating a collage: every detail in the frame is an opportunity to tell one more part of your story. I can't wait to see the story we craft together.
