"This morning, with her, having coffee."

— Johnny cash when asked of his description of paradise

Nothing compares to a slow Saturday morning with homemade pancakes and bacon. sipping on a warm cup of coffee snuggling up with the person who makes you the happiest.

One of my favorite sessions of all time featuring the cutest love birds...

Before you get too far into this blog post that means so much to me....

I am writing this blog post listening to "Slow and Steady" by JD Clayton. One of my favorite songs, not for the music but for the mood. The lyrics. The way he puts the feeling of a slow weekend morning into a song. It's addicting to me. Spending every morning possible with the love of my life slow and steady is what I want forever and ever.

Where it started...

Austin and I decided a few years ago that every weekend we could, we would wake up slow. He would make two coffees, one with milk and one without, and I would make homemade pancakes and of course bacon. We would spend the whole morning together. This little tradition started randomly on a Saturday we were both off and has now become my favorite part of the week. The part I miss most when we are traveling or working.

I had this idea to create a session based off of my favorite day. These photos mean so much to me. They're not of Austin and I, but they remind me of the best part of my week. You know when you have something so good, and you just want everyone to have it too? That's it! That's the feeling. That is why I love this session so much.

So turn up the volume on the song I mentioned earlier (I know you looked it up) and enjoy all the adorable photos of these two lovers. Maybe change your Saturday plans or start a new Sunday tradition. Time moves too fast. Let's slow it down and enjoy every day, every morning together.

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to Bryce and Sarah for welcoming me into their beautiful home and letting me create this session with them. It made my creative heart so happy and I will forever be sharing these photos and the meaning behind the session.
